X-ICGL (10th International Conference on General Linguistics) will be held at University of Zaragoza (Spain) from 18 to 20 April 2012. The X-ICGL is the next edition of the former successful meetings held in Valencia (1994), Granada (1996), Salamanca (1998), Cádiz (2000), León (2002), Santiago de Compostela (2004), Barcelona (2006), The Autonomous University of Madrid (2008), and Valladolid (2010).
The 10th International Conference on General Linguistics has been conceived as an open forum for the exchange of information and research dealing with diverse components of language studied from different theoretical perspectives.
The conference will consist of several invited Plenary Lectures and Round Tables together with a number of Oral and Poster Communications previously selected by the Scientific Committee. And I will be doing a poster presentation. My study is titled as ‘A genre analysis of weather reports in Turkish newspapers’.
Looking forward to this wonderful meeting of linguists from all over the world.
